I'm Bolt! Adopt me!

Bolt would do best in a house with another dog and an active human to take him for walks.

Bolt was found as a stray and is just a year old, still very much a puppy. He weighs 17 pounds.

According to his foster mom, he’s great with kitties, altho he will chase them from time to time. He definitely needs a fenced yard because he LOVES being outside and running and playing with toys. He also likes car rides. Bolt would really do best with another dog and needs an active human to take him on walks or jogs because he likes to be busy and engaged.

Bolt needs a human who understands his breeds (50% chihuahua, 50% West Highland terrier) and knows he’s stubborn and will make poor choices every now and then. But he’s an amazingly smart little guy who just wants to please. Bolt is also a “work in progress” who needs a little patience with house training (he’s doing sooooo much better), and he at times exhibits “selective hearing” when it’s time to come inside.

Bolt loves to snuggle!

His foster mom suggests susggests his owner stay outside with him when he’s in the yard because he can be a digger and will go under a fence if there’s something he wants to check out on the other side.

This cute boy is a sweetie, very smart, a world-class snuggler, and he’ll make a great companion for the right person.

He is available through Chihuahua Rescue of Indiana. If you'd like to meet or adopt Bolt, click here: https://www.cognitoforms.com/ChihuahuaRescueIndianaInc/ChihuahuaRescueIndianaIncAdoptionForm
