Rory is a young female pit bull/labrador retriever mix who is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and heartworm negative. She’s a manageable 50 pounds and a youthful 1-2 years old, ready and waiting for her furever home!
This pup is not only stunning with her one blue eye, one brown eyes and soft black and white coat, but so sweet, smart and playful too. She would make an amazing companion and adventure buddy. Rory loves other dogs. She can be a little sensitive warming up to new people, but it’s worth the short wait to earn her trust, love, and snuggles. Once she warms up to you she will not want to be away from you. She does suffer from separation anxiety so ideally her person/people would be home most of the time and be willing to work with her on her confidence. Although we haven’t seen her with many children, we have no reason to think she wouldn’t love them too. She’s a polite and gentle pup with a lot of love to give. Rory was originally selected by Medical Mutts to be trained as a service dog for her incredible temperament, but most dogs do not meet all criteria so she is now available for adoption. Her adoption fee of $250 includes two private sessions with one of our trainers to get started on basic obedience.
