The Partners for Animal Welfare Society in Hancock County has several bunnies who need homes. Here are two of them.
Scarlett is a female, intact, Holland Lop, approximately four years old. Scarlett has a big personality, and she is a bit sassy, so she needs room to run and play to burn off that energy. She loves any foods, but her favorites are greens and dried fruit!
Scarlett was rescued from a situation where she didn't get much social interaction, so she is need of someone who is wiling to spend some upfront time earning her trust. If you think that could be you, then put an application in for Scarlett. Adoption fee is $25. Once your application is approved, the shelter will set up a meet-and-greet.

Lola is a young American Fuzzy Lop, with a beautiful, dark gray coat. She does a great job of keeping it sleek and clean. Lola was found abandoned in a park with two other bunnies, so being left to roam in a wide-open space scares her. She prefers to be in her cage, unless she is being held. She is cautious about people when she first meets them but she does love being petted and having her hair brushed. Lola would like a quiet home with adults or older children who are willing to be patient with her and provide lots of love while she warms up to her new surroundings. Adoption fee is $25.
