My story: How a rescue dog inspired a children's book
I first saw Jude on a social media site stating he was chasing their chickens. I rescued this miniature Schnauzer mix from the Hamilton County Humane Society seven days later. Jude was around 8 years old, homeless, shy, and had little confidence. Since rescuing him, his life has changed in so many ways!
My new book, “The Adventures of Jude,” is about growth, friendship, and love.

I'm Benson! Adopt me!
Benson is a male Mini Rex who is 11 months old. He is a curious, energetic little guy with a HUGE personality and an even bigger heart. If something’s happening, he’s in it… and if nothing’s happening, he’ll make sure there is.
This boy is always on the move — zooming, exploring, investigating, and binkying his way through life. He thrives with plenty of out-of-cage time to stretch, play, and satisfy his endless curiosity.

Hoosier author's mischievous dog inspires children's books
Ashlee Butler never imagined herself writing a book, but the antics of Myles, her nearly two-year-old dog, turned her into an author.
Her new children’s book, “Focus, Myles, Focus!” is Butler’s clever tribute to her spunky pup, a Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen, a breed few people have heard of.

I'm Mabel! Adopt me!
Meet Mabel, a senior female domestic shorthair mix at Misty Eyes Animal Center in Avon, Indiana.
This kitty is so sweet but right now is very scared. Sadly she had a loving owner but she got dementia and Mabel became homeless. She lived with another cat but they are not bonded. She is used to a quieter home.

When your faith in humanity is RESTORED!
An accident at a Noah's Animal Hospital led to a generous act by a total stranger. See Tom Dock's blog about faith in humanity being restored!

How my kitty survived anorexia: A pawsitive journey
This is not my idea of fun, Mom. Have you ever heard of an anorexic pet? I sure hadn’t. But I found out all about it when my kitty was...
