I'm Wrangler! Adopt me!

Wrangler was once a previous deadline dog due to kennel stress. When we moved into the new IACS shelter, we wanted to give him the chance to decompress and show us who he really is outside of the stress and chaos. While he’s doing so much better here than he was before, The truth is, Wrangler is still sad -- sad that he’s still waiting.

And once you get him outside of his kennel? A completely different dog shines through. Wrangler LOVES to run, romp, and play. He has such a fun, goofy side and truly enjoys being with people. He’s the kind of dog that just wants a chance to live life with a family of his own. A fenced yard would be ideal for this active boy.

Wrangler is around 4 years old, neutered, and generally calm around other dogs. His barrier behavior seems to come more from excitement than aggression. Because he can get a little enthusiastic and bouncy at times, we think he’d do best in a home with older children so he doesn’t accidentally knock over little ones.

He’s waited long enough. Please come meet Wrangler and help him finally leave shelter life behind.

Indianapolis Animal Care Services's new shelter is open daily from noon to 7 p.m. Animals are shown until 6:30 pm. No appointment is required.
