Medical Mutts gets help from Pulliam Trust

Cookie will be trained as a service dog.

Kelsey Burton

Medical Mutts

Cookie is one of our new service dog candidates. A 2-year-old black and white lab mix, Cookie joined our program 3 months ago from Indianapolis Animal Care Services, our longtime shelter partner.

Her infectious smile and boundless enthusiasm have stolen our hearts!

It takes a lot of resources to rescue, vet, and train shelter dogs like Cookie, providing them with a shot at a life filled with purpose.

None of this would be possible without the incredible support from the Nina Mason Pulliam Charitable Trust. Their generosity paves the way for dogs like Cookie to transform into life-changing service animals, helping individuals with disabilities.

A big shout-out to the Trust for making it possible for us to continue our partnership with IACS.
