“Pet Pals TV” host Patty Spitler joined News 8’s Gina Glaros, and Carla Knapp with the Indiana State Museum to talk about a fun new exhibit.
The museum has opened a new traveling exhibition called “Cats & Dogs, the Exhibition,” which runs through Sept. 27.
Knapp described the interactive exhibit as family-friendly and with crisp air conditioning, featuring tests like a dog agility course with weave poles, or a jump challenge where guests can test if they can jump as high as a nimble house cat.
There is also a virtual reality experience giving guests insight into what it’s really like to be a cat or a dog; visitors can don headsets that simulate seeing and hearing the world as our furry friends do.
Knapp says the museum knew they had to host “Cats & Dogs” after seeing it in another museum, believing that it teaches guests about pet communication and offers tips on improving the lives of their animals.
Patty’s dog Harry thought it looked like fun! Find out more by watching the video!
