WISH-TV’S Gina Glaros sat down with Tom Dock from Noah’s Animal Hospitals to discuss some recent trends and ways to keep your pets safe in the summer months.


Tortoise is an educational embassador
Krissi Williams of Animal Care Alliance joined News 8’s Pam Elliot and “Pet Pals TV” host Patty Spitler to introduce a very special guest: Tortellini, a young Sulcata tortoise native to Africa, but being cared for here in Indiana.
Part of Animal Care Alliance's mission is to rehabilitate injured and orphaned wildlife. They also work with animals that cannot be returned to the wild, using them as educational ambassadors — exactly the role Tortellini has taken on.

Chica is a familiar face in Indianapolis, primarily working with Gray at the Indianapolis International Airport, helping detect bombs that might pass through the area. But recently, Chica and Gray tested their skills at a major event – the Kentucky Derby.
