The pygmy marmoset is the smallest monkey on earth. They can travel with lightning speed, swinging through the trees to avoid predators, and have a high-pitched call that are often not detectable to humans.
According to Wikipedia, Marmosets are native to a limited region in northern Brazil, where they inhabit the lush, biodiverse canopy of the Amazon Rainforest. These primates are primarily found along the Amazon River and its surrounding forest corridors. They prefer secondary forests and edge habitats, which offer abundant food sources and shelter.
