Don’t know why this cute guy couldn’t find a date for the prom, but he had the purrfect solution right at home!
Sam Steingard, of Boulder. Colorado, took his cat, Ruby, to the prom.
“My brother took our cat to prom,” Sam’s sister Caroline told Paws Planet. “My mom decided to buy her a dress and sparkly collar so my brother would have someone to take pictures with.”
Ok, so he didn’t take his cat to the actual dance – that might have been too stressful for her. But the photo ops were precious.
10 years ago, Ruby was found behind a Ruby Tuesday’s restaurant, which is how she got her name. She is a very friendly cat and loves people and the neighbors. Ruby grew up with Sam and Caroline and they share a very close bond.
“When I was younger, she would walk with me to school, and then when we arrived she would walk herself home and meet me there after school. She’s a great cat,” says Caroline.
Ruby loves to be held. She’s a very chill cat and purrs when you pet her.
