Spring is here, and that means more time outdoors and new potential concerns for our pets.
From Pet Pals TV, News 8’s Gina Glaros sat down with Tom Dock from Noah’s Animal Hospitals to discuss what backyard dangers to be on the lookout for.
He discusses cocoa mulch, an aesthetic choice for landscaping, which is a byproduct of the chocolate industry and is ultimately toxic to dogs. If your dog eats mushrooms, take them to the vet immediately. Dock also suggests that everyone should give their pets monthly or yearly parasite prevention.
