Patty Spitler and Stacy Schooler were joined by KJ and her cat, Giles to common feline behaviors and debunked myths about cat ownership.
KJ, the founder of the Super Cat Parent Society, explained that many feline behaviors are rooted in a need for safety and security. Because cats are both prey and predators in the wild, their domestic actions often reflect a desire to monitor their environment and protect their owners.
Patty addressed a common question regarding why cats often follow their owners into the bathroom. KJ noted that because cats are both prey and predators in the wild, their culture revolves around safety and they may feel anxious when a door is shut and they cannot see their owner.
