Save the date: Oct. 5 for the 11th annual Woofstock fundraiser for the Humane Society of Hamilton County!
The Survivor 5K and Dog Walk starts at 8 a.m. at Four Day Ray Brewing, 11671 Lantern Road, Fishers, IN 46038. Then see the Ultimate Elton John Rock Tribute Band at Nickel Plate District Amphitheater in the evening, with doors opening at 7 p.m. for the 8 p.m. show.
There will be a beer garden, Vino Mobile Bar, food trucks and -- of course --adoptable animals! All proceeds benefit the Survivor Program, which covers the cost of all life-saving and emergency care for thousands of animals each year. Leashed dogs are welcome at the event.
