Video: IndyHumane sees rising pet adoption rate
Patty Spitler welcomed CEO of IndyHumane, Donna Casamento, and her four-legged friend, Toby, to share some exciting news regarding adoption rates at Indy Humane!
“Last year, we had a 36% increase in our adoptions and so many other programs, in edition to our medical,” Casamento said. “We’re doing more enrichment for the animals that are in our care, our volunteerism is going up, like, at a ridiculous amount. We are so happy.”
She explained that kitten season is coming up so a lot of kittens will be available for adoption. The shelter says they are still struggling to get their large dogs adopted. “If you’re interested in adopting large dog, please, please, please come. We have the best dogs with the greatest personalities.”
