Seth Meyers announced the passing of his Italian Greyhound, Frisbee, at age 14. In a heartfelt Instagram tribute, the Late Night host remembered “14 amazing years,” remembering her as happiest curled in a lap or dressed up for holidays.
Frisbee wasn’t just family—she became a fixture of Meyers’ comedy world, known for her long-running tongue-in-cheek feud with Andy Samberg. Over the years, Samberg jokingly called her a “rat carcass,” scratched her out of holiday cards, and even celebrated her “fake death” on a podcast. Fans now joke that Frisbee’s ghost will haunt him forever.
While the comedy brought levity, tributes poured in from Meyers’ SNL friends, including Rachel Dratch, Kenan Thompson, and Amy Poehler, who wrote, “Frisbee forever.”
Frisbee leaves behind not only her family but also a legacy of joy, laughter, and late-night lore.
