The holidays get wild at Re-Wilding Indiana’s Hibernation Ball, hosted at the Indiana Historical Society during its glittering Festival of Trees on Friday, Dec. 5. This 21-and-over fundraiser mixes elegance with purpose, pairing cheers—beer, wine, and conversation—with a cause that gives injured and orphaned animals a second chance. Attire suggested is holiday elegant.
Guests will enjoy heavy hors d’oeuvres, a bar, raffles, and a live program featuring Mark Booth and the raptors of Take Flight! Wildlife Education. Between falcons, photos, and festive lights, the evening offers both spectacle and substance.
“It’s an elegant night out that delivers something real,” said Leah Perry, Director of Education & Volunteer Operations for Re-Wilding Indiana. “From seats to second chances—every ticket funds the food, medicine, and care that get wild patients back home.”
“Tickets tonight are treatments tomorrow,” added Jen Hancock, Wildlife Rehabilitation Director. “The Hibernation Ball turns community generosity into direct support for the animals in our care this winter and for our future patients.”
