Cat lovers, this one’s for you. 🐱 A moving new documentary is headed to Indianapolis, and it’s sure to tug at every rescuer’s heart.
“25 Cats from Qatar” follows Katy McHugh, founder of Milwaukee’s Sip & Purr Cat Café, as she learns that Qatar’s cat population is nearly equal to its human one. Determined to make a difference, she sets out on a daring mission to bring 25 lucky cats from Doha to the U.S. for adoption.

Directed by Mye Hoang—the filmmaker behind the beloved Cat Daddies—this film offers an inspiring look at how far compassion can travel. It’s a story of courage, connection, and the global fight for animal welfare that unites us all.
I’ll be at the Saturday night screening at Alamo Drafthouse—if you’re a cat lover in Indy, this is the perfect chance to connect, share a few happy tears, and celebrate the heroes who give cats a second chance. 🐾
