Eskenazi Health staff and volunteers recently were out exercising with their dogs at the Spring Doggie Dash! Emily Smith, Animal Assisted Therapy Manager at Eskenazi Health, talks about the virtual 5K non-competitive event created to help employees and pets get moving! Barney Wood has the story.

Chica is a bomb-sniffing dog who usually helps to keep people safe at the Indianapolis International Airport. This year, she and her handler, Keith Gray, were invited to help at the Kentucky Derby in Louisville. Gray talks to Patty about how this working dog is trained for duty.
Pamela Terhune, founder of Grateful Rescue and Sanctuary in Muncie, Indiana, has launched a Pit Stop campaign to help save the overpopulation of pit bulls. Check out the recent fundraiser at Big Woods Restaurant in Speedway, where celebrities and pet people helped raise money for the pitties.

There were celebrities like Sean Astin leading kitten therapy sessions, cat crafts and games, health advice and much more.
