''Focus, Myles, Focus!' follows spunky dog's adventures

Ashlee Butler, a Seymour, Indiana resident, has authored and illustrated a new children’s book titled “Focus, Myles, Focus!” featuring her Petit Basset Griffon Vendéen dog, Myles.

The book was created as a tribute to her late dog, Maggie, and follows Myles, a high-energy puppy who becomes easily distracted while learning to focus on responsibilities. With guidance from his family, including his older sister Maggie, Myles learns the importance of staying focused and recognizing what matters most.

Butler, a 2016 graduate of Indiana University with a psychology degree, is known locally as an animal lover. Her “A Myles Tale” series is inspired by her experiences with her dog Myles, and she also enjoys photographing local wildlife.
