Kittens, connection and a little calm: PurrCon joins Wellbeing Fest November 8
Pet lovers know the feeling: you sit down with a cat, put your phone aside and suddenly have a reason to stay still for a minute.

That everyday connection is what Pet Pals TV’s very own Kitty Correspondent, KJ McGlinn, is bringing to Holistic Hub Wellbeing Fest on Sunday, November 8, at Hub & Spoke in Fishers.
For the first time, PurrCon’s Cozy Cat Corner will be part of the free festival, alongside local wellness professionals, interactive experiences, speakers and artisans.

Why cats belong in the wellbeing conversation
PurrCon gives people an easy way to connect—with animals and with each other. You don’t need to know anyone or have something clever to say. A kitten, a box of crayons or a friendship bracelet can give you a comfortable place to begin.
“For some people, walking into a wellness event might feel a little unfamiliar. But ‘come hang out with kittens’? That’s an easy yes,” says McGlinn. “That’s what I love about bringing PurrCon into this world. Come for the cats, enjoy yourself, and maybe find something else that helps you feel good, too.”
Come for the cats. Explore a little more.
The Cozy Cat Corner will feature:
Adoptable kittens with rescue partner ARPO: Meet the kittens and learn about the rescue’s work.
Feline Friendship Bracelets, coloring and crafts: Sit down, make something and enjoy a little conversation.
Musical Cat Boxes™: Join PurrCon’s playful, cat-themed take on musical chairs.
It’s also a chance to see the cats as individuals—and perhaps meet a future family member.

Hear from KJ at noon
McGlinn will present “Presence Over Purrfection: A SuPURR Approach to Wellbeing” at noon, sharing personal stories, humor and practical ways to make room for presence, connection, play and rest.
Pet Pals TV viewers know KJ for her love of cats and the people who care for them. Her PurrCon pop-ups carry that same spirit into new settings, creating opportunities to pause, enjoy an animal’s company and feel comfortable joining in.
Throughout the festival, visitors can also explore restorative yoga, a crystal bowl sound experience and a marketplace of local wellness professionals and artisans.
At 2 p.m., movement educator Paula Rene Lord presents “Vision In Motion: Aligning Energy, Posture, and Purpose for a Clearer Future.”
