Patty Spitler and News 8 Anchor, Stacy Schooler, were joined by Brandi Craig, Caitlin Haynes, and their rescue dog, Otis, from Lucci’s House Bully Rescue.
“He and his siblings came to the rescue,” said Haynes. “They ended up at Indianapolis Animal Care Services, sick with Parvo. Unfortunately, a few of them did not make it.”
Lucci’s House Bully Rescue was founded in 2020 in Indianapolis. The organization aims to combat breed discrimination and promote responsible pet ownership.
Thanks to Lucci’s, over 2,000 bull breeds have been saved.
Lori, the founder, started the rescue after losing her personal dog to breed discrimination. The rescue has become a significant resource in Indianapolis, actively working against the stigma associated with bully breeds.
