Dehoney-Hinkle says that the shelter is currently at capacity. She says that a big challenge right now is trying to get the animals in and out of the shelter as quickly as possible. One of her biggest goals for the year is decreasing the length of time that animals stay. One of the biggest ways to help the shelter, according to Dehoney-Hinkle, is to sign up to be a volunteer.
