Pet Pals TV's Patty Spitler and WISH-TV anchor Gina Glaros were joined by Darcie Kurtz, the executive director of Friends of Indiana Dogs Outside, now called FIDO Indy, to discuss the summer heat and its impact on animals – especially dogs.

IndyHumane and FIDO Indy have partnered to expand spay and neuter services for pets in Indianapolis after receiving a $7,500 grant. The organizations are now raising funds to match the grant from Operation Pit Stop and increase access to free and low-cost surgeries during the spring puppy season.
