Krissi Williams of Animal Care Alliance joined News 8’s Pam Elliot and “Pet Pals TV” host Patty Spitler to introduce a very special guest: Tortellini, a young Sulcata tortoise native to Africa, but being cared for here in Indiana. Part of Animal Care Alliance's mission is to rehabilitate injured and orphaned wildlife. They also work with animals that cannot be returned to the wild, using them as educational ambassadors — exactly the role Tortellini has taken on.
