NEW SHOW: Special needs pups, photographer celebration, adorable baby animals and Tom’s pet advice

Updated: 6 days ago

Patty Spitler presents Pet Pals TV, Saturday at 10:30 a.m. on WISH-TV and streaming here at PetPalsTV.com. Here's a look at the stories we'll have for you:

Ashley Stepp and Sharra Ferbrache from Chihuahua Rescue Indiana discuss how they take care of chihuahuas that have disabilities due to overbreeding. Stepp shows us how her two-legged dog, Thor, gets around on his “wheels,” thanks to a 3D printing process movement for biped pets.

Ellie Sophia Brown, who was named Most Creative Pet Photographer in 2024, talks to Patty about the 10th anniversary of her business. Ellie Sophia Pet Photography is marking a decade in business with a monthlong celebration in April, featuring giveaways and prizes. Is there anything cuter than baby animals? Amazon John and Meerkat Mel of Silly Safaris present Patty with some springtime energy with adorable baby chicks and ducklings while highlighting the special care these young animals need to thrive. (Yes, Patty kissed a duckling and she liked it!)

Patty’s sweet little Maltese, Harry, had tests a few months ago which showed some liver issues. A change in food and some new medicine is helping him bounce back. Tom Dock, of Noah’s Animal Hospitals and Pet Pals TV’s investigative reporter, talks to Patty about the importance of having your pets evaluated by your veterinarian to get a jump on any health concerns.

Graceful, gentle, and built for speed! It’s often mistaken for a small Greyhound. Meet the Whippet! This breed has a history as rich as its racing heritage. Barney Wood tells us all about this spunky dog in Know Your Breed, brought to you by Noah’s Animal Hospitals.
